Be Active Holdings, Inc. manufactures and sells frozen yogurt and ice cream. The Company's frozen yogurt is packaged as low fat sandwiches and bars, which are designed for the health conscious or weight conscious consumers. The Company sells its products principally to supermarkets, and to a lesser extent, to convenience and other foods stores. Its Jala products are made with naturally fermented yogurt using Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus yogurt cultures with the addition of Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus debrueckii bulgaricus bacteria, which are clinically shown to promote a healthy digestive system. Its products are available in over 2,000 stores principally throughout the New England and the Northeast regions. The Greek frozen yogurt sandwiches are packaged in plastic sealed trays in packages of over four. The trays are shrink-wrapped in a polywrap for freshness and product protection. Flavor combinations are vanilla/chocolate and vanilla.
