Asian Palm Oil Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company. The Company is engaged in the business of extracting crude palm oil (CPO) and distributing primary products derived from crude palm oil extraction, as well as by-products, which include palm kernels (PK), shells, empty fruit bunches (EFB), palm acid oil (PAO), and fiber. These by-products are used as biofuel in the production process. The Company produces crude palm oil by purchasing palm fruit from local farmers and generating electricity from biogas. The Company sells palm kernels to two groups of customers: palm kernel oil extraction plants and traders. The palm kernel oil extraction plants extract palm kernel oil from the palm kernels. The traders use the palm kernels for various purposes, such as selling them to other palm kernel oil extraction plants or further developing them into products used in different industries like cosmetics, bakeries, among others.
