Alpha MOS specializes in designing and marketing industrial equipment of smells and tastes digitization for the food processing, chemistry, pharmacy, environment, and perfume and cosmetics sectors. The group's products identify and quantify a product's smell or taste imprint (solid, liquid or gas) in order to determine its origin, quality, age or purity. The group's activity is organized around 2 families of products and services:

- digitizing instruments: electronic noses and tongues (world's leader of industrial use products) and sampling probes. The group also markets related components (sensors, filters, tubes, etc.);

- services: research and development, custom analysis, maintenance services, etc.

Equipment are manufactured primarily by subcontractors.
