Amsteel Corporation Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company is organized into three business segments. The property segment is engaged in property development and management, and operation of hotels. The plantation segment is engaged in cultivation of oil palm and rubber. The investment holding and others segment is engaged in investment holding; manufacture and sale of steel related-products; provision of security services and security-related equipment; provision of transportation services, and retail and others. In August 31, 2007, Amsteel Corporation Berhad announced that Terunaraya Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, which had ceased operation, was dissolved. On February 29, 2008, Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad acquired the remaining 20% interest in CMS Steel Berhad, from Amsteel Corporation Berhad.
