Investment objective

The SPDRMorgan Stanley Technology ETF seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of the Morgan Stanley Technology Index. The Morgan Stanley Technology Index is composed purely of electronics-based technology companies. The Technology Index was the first listed broad-market technology barometer dedicated exclusively to the electronics-based technology industry. The Technology Index comprises companies drawn from the following technology sub-sectors: computer services; design software; server software, PC software and new media; networking and telecom equipment; server hardware, PC hardware and peripherals; specialized systems; and semiconductors.
