Janus Henderson develops proprietary artificial intelligence tools

Janus Henderson has announced the development of a suite of artificial intelligence tools designed to bolster its investment activities and client relations. The asset manager is collaborating with Percepta, a technology transformation firm under the General Catalyst group, as well as utilizing the Claude AI models developed by Anthropic.

The group is notably deploying two proprietary platforms. PRISM is designed to assist sales and marketing teams in better identifying client needs and personalizing interactions. LIBROS is intended for analysts and portfolio managers to accelerate the utilization of internal research, market data, and public information.

Janus Henderson is also extending the use of AI across the entire firm, particularly within engineering, investment, and operational functions.

According to the company, the objective is not to replace human expertise but to augment it through tools specifically engineered for the asset management industry. This approach aims to overcome the limitations of generic solutions by connecting AI to the firm's specific data and internal processes.
