Zach Goodman

Zach has spent the past 14 years working with and investing in companies in the technology, consumer, and media & communications sectors.
Prior to joining Cove Hill, Zach spent over 7 years at Meritage Group, a family office with more than $10 billion of assets under management, as a Managing Director focused on direct investing.
He helped manage over $2 billion of capital deployed across more than ten investments in private equity, public equities, and credit.
Zach helped to spearhead the buyout of Liaison International, an education technology company, as well as the follow-on acquisitions of TargetX and Othot.
He also helped manage minority investments in a fast-growing beverages company and a data provider.
Before joining Meritage, Zach worked for a year on the corporate strategy team at Google's Motorola Mobility subsidiary on the turnaround of the business.
Before that, he spent two years as a private equity associate at Silver Lake Partners focused on private equity investments across technology sectors.
He began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Media & Communications Group at Morgan Stanley.
Outside of work, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife, running, traveling, reading, and trying new restaurants.
He is a fan of Duke basketball and underperforming NY sports teams.
Zach graduated from Duke University summa cum laude ranked first in his class and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
