Prior to forming Conestoga Capital Advisors, Mr. Maxwell served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Key Mutual Fund Advisors, the proprietary mutual fund complex at Keycorp.
Mr. Maxwell also ran Maxwell Associates, a management consulting company, which provided general business consulting to some of the largest investment organizations in the industry.
He was also a Governor of the Investment Institute, and a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of the $80 Billion New York State Teachers Retirement System, from 1982 to 2000.
Mr. Maxwell received his MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Business Administration in 1966.
He also received his BS from Pennsylvania State University in 1965 and is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst.
