Mr. Caruso is a partner of Guardian and leads the Guardian Operations and Advisory Company.
He plays an integral role in investment due diligence, value creation opportunity identification, and working alongside portfolio company management teams post-acquisition to successfully execute against value creation plans.
Tom joined Guardian in 2020.
Prior to Guardian, Tom had an extensive professional career at leading Private Equity firms and Private Equity owned portfolio companies.
Most recently he was a Senior Operating Partner at Graham Partners Operating Company where he served on numerous Boards of Directors while partnering with investment professionals and portfolio company management teams to identify value creation opportunities and execute against value creation plans.
Prior to that, Tom worked at Alvarez and Marsal in their Private Equity Performance Improvement practice where he helped leading Private Equity firms execute against value creation opportunities.
