Mr. Faler joined Second Curve in January of 2005, from Giovine Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund in Los Angeles, where he provided generalist coverage with an emphasis on the insurance industry.
Before Giovine, from 1999 to 2003, Mr. Faler was at Banc of America Securities, where he covered the insurance industry, as well.
Prior to BofA, Mr. Faler was an equity analyst and private-equity maven at Reliance Group in New York.
