They have general partnership relationships worldwide and are a proactive partner across the full spectrum of the private equity market, including large buyouts, middle-market, lower middle-market, and growth buyouts, venture capital, mezzanine, distressed securities, secondary and sustainable energy. AlpInvest's allocation process involves top-down segment analysis and bottom-up general manager selection. They conduct due diligence and typically allocate $10 million to $500 million per fund investment to managers that the team believes demonstrate an experienced and structured team with a meaningful, relevant track record. AlpInvest's dedicated Secondary Investment team acquires and restructures portfolios of private equity assets ranging in size from EUR 1 million to over EUR 1 billion. Their Co-Investments team invests in private equity businesses directly, providing both equity and mezzanine financing to general partners� portfolio companies.
