Prior to joining First Republic Investment Management in September 2007, Mr. Wardlaw was Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for US Trust from 1999 to 2006.
From 1986 to 1999, he was a Commercial Loan Officer, Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager in the First Interstate of Oregon Trust Department and its successor firm, Wells Fargo Capital.
At Wells Capital Management, he served as Managing Director of the Value Group, managing over $3 billion in equity mutual funds and institutional investments.
He also serves on the Investment Committee of the Archdiocese of Portland and is a member of the Transportation Sub-committee for the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Wardlaw is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society in Seattle, Washington.
