Profile

Mr. Paul Carter, CFA, is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Capstone Asset Management Inc. He joined the Capstone team in 2022 with 30 years of experience in the investment industry, split between Canada and the United States.
He brings to Capstone a wealth of experience analyzing complex investment situations and adding value to client portfolios.
He serves as a key member of the firm’s Investment Management Team and is the lead manager for Capstone’s Canadian Equity Income strategy.
Mr. Carter has held a variety of roles over his career, including positions in the areas of portfolio management, investment research, and institutional investment consulting.
For over a decade he was a principal of two registered investment firms that managed limited partnership vehicles, focused on North American stocks, with one firm winning the top long/short equity manager prize at the Global Emerging Managers Awards.
He received his Bachelors of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
