Mr. Nipun Nanda, CFA, is a Chief Investment Officer & Founding Partner at Kaleidoscope Capital LP.
Mr. Nanda was previously a partner and portfolio manager at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. (GMO).
He joined the firm in 2003 as a quantitative researcher working with one of the founders of the firm, Jeremy Grantham.
After successfully managing GMO’s anti-risk portfolio through 2008, at age 27, he became one of the youngest partners in the history of the firm.
Prior to his departure in 2014, he was one of four portfolio managers responsible for managing in excess of $50 billion of asset allocation and absolute return mandates.
He earned his B.A. in Economics from Oberlin College and is a CFA charterholder.
