Mr. Neil U.
Desai is a Managing Director & Head of Structured Credit Investing at Clearlake Capital Asset Management LLC.
He joined the firm in July 2019 and is responsible for WhiteStar’s CLO investment business, as well as assisting in the structuring, syndication, and strategic planning of the Trinitas Capital Management new issue CLO platform.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Desai was a Managing Director at Highland Capital Management, L.P., overseeing credit trading and managing approximately $2 billion of CLO investments.
He also traded over $10 billion of CLO tranche volume during his tenure.
Prior to that, Mr. Desai was involved in building and running the structured credit business for Pfizer Inc.’s Treasury organization and had earlier roles in structuring and trading at Credit Suisse and Barclays Capital.
He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
