The center houses an extensive collection of over 50,000 artifacts and photographs documenting local history, including exhibits on the Hershey chocolate industry, the Hershey Bears hockey team, World War II memorabilia, early brownstone quarrying, local law enforcement, and Italian American heritage. The non-profit company is based in Hershey, PA. It offers rotating and permanent exhibits, educational programs, guided tours, and community events such as jazz concerts, historical talks, and special presentations. The center supports genealogical and local history research through a library and archives, with an online photo database available for public viewing and purchase. Memberships provide benefits such as free admission, event discounts, research access, and venue rental privileges.
