Jonny Maxwell joined Standard Life Investments in 1989, as the only executive with full time responsibility for private equity investments.
He was appointed to the board of directors in June 2004.
Jonny started his career with Stewart Ivory & Co and moved to Castleforth Fund Managers in 1988 before taking up his current position.
He holds a degree in Bachelor of Laws and an MBA and has a Fellowship of the Securities and Investment Institute.
Jonny has served on the Scottish Committee of the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and sits on the advisory boards and investment committees of a number of private equity funds.
