Dr. Jeffrey S.
Nelson is Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Broadway National Bank Asset Management.
He has more than 14 years of professional investment management experience.
Prior to joining Broadway Bank as a Portfolio Manager, he served as a wealth advisor in the banking industry.
He also spent five years in private practice providing investment management and financial services to clients.
Additionally, he retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master of Science in Management and Human Relations from Abilene Christian University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University.
He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Financial Planner professional.
He teaches a course on investments as an adjunct faculty member at The University of Texas at San Antonio and is an active member of CFA Society San Antonio.
