Prior to joining Mesirow in 1980, Mr. Tyree has served on more than 40 boards of directors ranging from the Regional Firm's Advisory Board of the NYSE to boards of many industrial and service companies.
He is currently on the executive committee of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and a life member of its board of directors.
He is also on the executive committee and chair of program development for JDRF International.
He is the Chairman of the board of City Colleges of Chicago and on the boards of Illinois State University Foundation, Roosevelt University, Saint Xavier University and Marist High School.
Mr. Tyree received an MBA and BA degree from Illinois State University.
