While at Velocity, Mr. Marchette led investments in prominent emerging technology companies including Authoria (acquired by Bedford Funding), BrainShark, Cadent (acquired by Align Technologies), GameLogic (acquired by Scientific Games), ISTO Technologies, Marathon, Mintera (acquired by Oclaro), Pactolus (acquired by RadiSys), Persystent, OpenPeak, Reflexis, SimpleTuition and SportVision.
Previously, Mr. Marchette served as Senior Vice President at GE Commercial Finance with responsibility for Technology Lending Group originations and as a Principal at Hercules Technology Growth Capital.
His background also includes working as an Associate at Comdisco Ventures, where he was responsible for originations, underwriting and portfolio management for more than 80 companies.
Mr. Marchette began his career in venture leasing at Boston Financial and Equity, where he became an Assistant Vice President.
Mr. Marchette earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Maine
