Edgar Dyes

Edgar Dyes is President-Colombia of Gran Tierra Energy, Inc. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Office of Argosy Energy International LP.
Mr. Dyes has 21 years of experience in the Colombian oil industry, with the last 6 years in charge of Argosy's planning, management, finance and administration.
He started his career with Union Texas Petroleum as a petroleum accountant advancing into supervision and management positions in UTP's international operations.
Mr. Dyes worked for Quintana Energy Corp., Jackson Exploration, Inc, CSX Oil and Gas Co. and Garnet Resources Corp.
where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer.
He has worked in various financial and managerial rolls on projects in the United Kingdom, Germany, Indonesia, Oman, Brunei, Egypt, Somalia, Ecuador and Colombia.
Mr. Dyes received a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Stephen F.
Austin State University with Postgraduate studies in Accounting.
