Mr. Beatty joined Calibre in 2004.
Before joining Calibre, Mr. Beatty was President and CEO of Tanager Financial Services, a multi-family office and investment consulting practice based in the Boston area.
Mr. Beatty co-founded Tanager in 1995 and grew it to be the 10th largest independent wealth manager in the U.S.
before its sale to Wachovia in 2004.
Prior to founding Tanager, Mr. Beatty was a financial and investment advisor to wealthy families for a Boston wealth management firm.
Previously, he served as the lead individual income tax and personal financial planning specialist for the Boston office of Price Waterhouse.
Mr. Beatty gained additional experience as Controller of a not-for-profit organization.
Mr. Beatty received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University (Phi Beta Kappa) and his Masters of Management with a specialization in Finance from the J.L.
Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University (Austin Scholar).
He is a Certified Financial Planner® professional and a CPA/PFS (Certified Public Accountant with a designation as a Personal Financial Specialist).
