David Geenberg

Mr. David P.
Geenberg is a Head of North American Corporate Investment Team at Strategic Value Partners LLC and a Managing Director at Strategic Value Partners (Private Equity).
He is on the Board of Directors at IPC Systems, Inc., PureField Ingredients and SH 130 Concession Co. LLC.
Mr. Geenberg is a Managing Director and oversees the North American Investment Team, with leadership responsibility across the Firm’s investment, restructuring and portfolio operations functions in the region.
Mr. Geenberg leads investment efforts within the Firm’s North American corporate sectors, infrastructure and power & renewables.
He has overseen several of SVP’s control transactions in North America, including GenOn, SH-130, PureField Ingredients, OmniMax, IPC and Associated Materials.
Mr. Geenberg was previously employed as an Independent Director by Chaparral Energy, Inc., and by SilverBow Resources, Inc., a Non-Executive Co-Chairman by Penn Virginia Corp., and a Principal by Goldman Sachs & Co. He also served on the board at Bicent Power LLC, GenOn Energy, Inc., OmniMax International, Inc. and White Energy, Inc. He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
