Mr. Atsushi Horikawa is a Chief Investment Officer-Japan Value Equities at AllianceBernstein Japan Ltd.
Mr. Horikawa was appointed Co-CIO in October 2016 to manage the firm’s Japanese equity products and lead a team of experienced investment professionals covering Japanese companies.
Prior to that, Mr. Horikawa was a portfolio manager for Japan Value Equities, having served as Director of Research for the service since 2012.
He joined the firm in 2000 as a research analyst, and was named senior research analyst in 2002.
Previously, he worked at Sakura Bank as a business-planning executive.
Mr. Horikawa holds a BA in law from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from Harvard University, and is a Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
