Anisul Islam Mahmud is currently the Chairman of Shasha Textiles Ltd., Shasha Garments Ltd., Energis Power Corp.
Ltd., and EOS Textile Mills Ltd. He is also the Managing Director of Fly Dhaka Airlines Ltd. and a Director of Shasha Denims Ltd. and Ga Garments Ltd. Previously, he served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Government of Bangladesh from 1985 to 1990.
He was also a Senior Research Associate at the University of East Anglia from 1972 to 1973.
Additionally, he held the positions of President at the Bangladesh Cricket Board from 1989 to 1990 and at the Bangladesh Flying Club Ltd. from 1987 to 1990.
Mr. Mahmud obtained a graduate degree from the University of Essex in 1972, an undergraduate degree from the University of Dhaka in 1969, and a graduate degree from Quaid-i-Azam University.
