Phoenix Investment Adviser focuses on high yield debt and utilizes a research intensive, bottom-up investment process which focuses on securities of companies which have undergone or are undergoing some financial stress. The firm concentrates its investment recommendations primarily on securities that it believes trade at a significant discount to their underlying value. They analyze prospects across all industries, but focuses on asset rich, positive cash flow companies. Phoenix Investment Adviser looks throughout the capital structure and across asset classes to identify securities with the greatest perceived return potential for each of our strategies. They may also engage in short sales, hedging strategies and capital structure arbitrage to enhance performance and/or to hedge certain risks of a portfolio.
