Alain Cuenca García

Mr. Alain Cuenca García is a Director at Fundacion de las Cajas de Ahorros.
He is on the Board of Directors at SEPI Desarrollo Empresarial SA. He is a professor in Applied Economics at the University of Zaragoza since 1988, where he has held the title of Professor in Applied Economics since 1996, he has worked as the Director General of Economy for the Government of Aragón (1999-2004) and Director General for Governments with Local Authorities (2005-2008) and with Autonomous Communities (2008-2011) at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.Mr. Cuenca García has published articles in national and international journals on the efficiency of public administrations, the welfare state, the economy of defense and fiscal federalism.
