USA: ISM manufacturing index beats expectations in July
The ISM (Institute for Supply Management) manufacturing activity index for the United States came in at 55.6 for July, a sharp increase from 53.3 the prior month, while economists had been looking on average for a rise to 54. It is at its highest level since May 2022.
