Gas prices skyrocket in Europe
Israeli strikes against Iranian gas facilities and Tehran's retaliation on adjacent Qatari sites in recent hours have caused gas prices in Europe to soar once again. Around 8:00 AM, the TTF (the market that sets the benchmark gas price in Europe) surged by nearly 30% to around 70 EUR per MWh, compared to 53 EUR the previous day and 31 EUR before the outbreak of hostilities in Iran.
