Matang Berhad (Matang) is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company engages in investment holding, management of plantation estates, sale of fresh fruit bunches (FFB), and property holding. Its plantation estate business includes procuring germinated oil palm seeds, planting or replanting, and field upkeep. In addition to plantations, Matang, through its subsidiary, Matang Holdings Berhad (MHB), also owns an industrial property comprising three blocks of buildings with total net lettable areas of about 149,000 square feet located on 3.2 acres of leasehold land in Kawasan Perindustrian Larkin, Johor Bahru, Johor (Larkin Investment Property). Its durian business consists of the ownership, operation, and management of durian plantations, processing, production, and distribution of durian, and related downstream business activities.
