Empresa Distribuidora Sur SA (Edesur) is an Argentina-based company engaged in the distribution and sale of electric energy. The Company’s concession area covers more than 3,000 kilometers through the southern zone of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and the twelve municipalities of the Buenos Aires Province: Almirante Brown, Avellaneda, Berazategui, Canuelas, Esteban Echeverria, Ezeiza, Florencio Varela, Lanus, Lomas de Zamora, Presidente Peron, Quilmes and San Vicente. The Company also operates a network of approximately 30,000 kilometers of transmission lines. As of December 31, 2011, the Company held a 50% stake in Sociedad Anonima Centro de Movimiento de Energia (Sacme SA).
