ITV's streaming division and Disney+ agreed to a new content-sharing partnership in a move to expand their respective audiences in the U.K.
The collaboration will bring series and films from both streamers, in the form of a promotional selection, to both ITVX and Disney+, the U.K. broadcaster said on Thursday.
The two platforms will include a regularly-updated selection of content available starting July 16. The partnership aims to broaden audience reach, the company added.
"This mutually beneficial alliance allows us to show our complementary audiences a specially selected collection of titles" ITV Managing Director of Media and Entertainment Kevin Lygo said.
