As expected, the Stockholm stock exchange has started tentatively in anticipation of this afternoon's highlight in the US, the US employment report for November. The report is seen as important ahead of the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision in a few weeks, but it may be difficult to interpret as the outcome may have been affected by storms and strikes.

After just under 20 minutes of trading, the OMXS30 index was up 0.02 percent to 2,606.72. During the day, the index has moved within the range of -0.20 percent at its lowest and 0.04 percent at its highest.

The broad OMXSPI was up 0.03 percent.
