Stanley Electric Co., Ltd. (TSE:6923) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 13,000,000 shares, representing 8.11% of its issued share capital, for ¥30,000 million. The purpose of the program is to enhance shareholder returns and improve capital efficiency.
The program is valid till March 31, 2025. As of June 30, 2024, the company had 160,380,806 shares (excluding treasury stock) in issue and 10,819,194 shares are in treasury.
