BNP Paribas Asset Management has exceeded the threshold of 3% of Solvay's voting rights, before falling below the same mark again two days later, according to a financial notice published on Tuesday.

According to the transparency notice, BNP Paribas' asset management subsidiary first crossed this threshold on Tuesday June 4 by acquiring shares, which led it to hold 3.02% of the chemicals group.

On Thursday June 6, BNP Paribas Asset Management crossed the threshold again, but this time on the downside following a share sale, returning to 2.97% of voting rights.
