NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) - U.S. bank JPMorgan has raised its price target for Siemens Energy from 58 to 78 euros, while maintaining a "Neutral" rating on the stock. Ahead of the quarterly results scheduled for August 6, analyst Akash Gupta slightly increased his estimates for the company's pre-tax earnings before special items for fiscal years 2024/25 and 2025/26, despite mounting headwinds from negative currency effects. The energy technology group is expected to update its outlook. According to Gupta's assessment published on Tuesday, he anticipates a margin target at the upper end of the current guidance range. He also expects a revision of the company's medium-term goals at the Capital Markets Day in November. However, Gupta attributes his new price target to shifting the valuation period for the stock from 2026 to 2027./rob/gl/ag
