Porsche announces that the fourth generation of its Porsche Cayenne will be fully electric.

A test program with first camouflaged prototypes is already 'well advanced', says the automaker.

At the same time, Porsche is continuing to develop its powerful hybrid and internal combustion engine models. Until 2030 and beyond, the iconic SUV will be offered with three powertrain variants worldwide.

The third-generation Cayenne will remain available alongside the new electric generation.

"By the middle of the decade, the fourth generation will set new standards in the electric SUV segment," assures Oliver Blume, Managing Director of Porsche AG.
