Palantir announced Monday that it has extended its contract with the US Special Forces, winning a $36.8 million contract to provide AI-related functionality.

The agreement with the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) includes the deployment of the predictive analytics specialist's ontology software development kit (OSDK).

The contract also includes the conduct of a number of 'pilot' projects involving the adoption of artificial intelligence applications.

Palantir had shortly before announced that it was joining forces with Anduril to establish a new consortium aimed at responding to US government AI tenders.
