ING has announced that, as part of its 2.5 billion euro share buyback program announced on May 2, it bought back almost 3.09 million shares last week, at an average price of 16.30 euros, for a total of 50.35 million euros.

To date, the total number of shares bought back by the Dutch bank under this program thus stands at 50.46 million, for a total consideration of 813.85 million euros, or around 32.55% of the program's maximum total value.
