Gatos Silver, Inc. announced production results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2024. For the quarter, the company reported Tonnes milled of 305,807 dmt as compared to 277,318 dmt a year ago; tonnes milled per day of 3,324 dmt as compared to 3,014 dmt a year ago. Production of silver was 2.58 million ounces as compared to 2.56 million ounces a year ago. Production of Zinc pounds - in zinc conc. of 18.3 million as compared to 14.6 million a year ago. Production of Lead pounds - in lead conc. of 12.9 million as compared to 10.2 million a year ago. Production of Gold ounces - in lead conc. of 1,330 as compared to 1,390 a year ago.
For the year, the company reported Tonnes milled of 1,191,377 dmt as compared to 1,071,400 dmt a year ago; tonnes milled per day of 3,255 dmt as compared to 2,935 dmt a year ago. Production of silver was 9.68 million ounces as compared to 9.21 million ounces a year ago. Production of Zinc pounds - in zinc conc. of 69.7 million as compared to 57.3 million a year ago. Production of Lead pounds - in lead conc. of 46.4 million as compared to 38.9 million a year ago. Production of Gold ounces - in lead conc. of 5,530 as compared to 5,260 a year ago.
Gatos Silver, Inc. is a Canada-based silver dominant exploration, development and production company that discovered a silver and zinc-rich mineral district in southern Chihuahua State, Mexico. The Company, as a 70% owner of the Los Gatos Joint Venture (LGJV), is focused on operating the Cerro Los Gatos mine and on growth and development of the Los Gatos district. The LGJV includes over 103,000 hectares of mineral rights, representing a highly prospective and under-explored district with numerous silver-zinc-lead epithermal mineralized zones identified as priority targets. The Los Gatos District consists of 14 mineralized zones, including three identified silver-lead-zinc deposits: the Cerro Los Gatos Mine, the Esther deposit, and the Amapola deposit. The other 11 mineralized zones, with over 150 kilometers (kms) of outcropping quartz and calcite veins, have at least one mineralization intercept. The Cerro Los Gatos Mine is located around 120 kms south of Chihuahua City, Chihuahua.
