Centrica has sealed a £20billion partnership with energy giant Equinor to bring gas to the UK. Centrica will take delivery of 5 billion cubic metres of gas a year up to 2035 and says the deal improves UK energy security as it works to build further gas storage. It comes as Rain Newton-Smith, the Confederation of British Industry boss, demands a ?serious plan?
