Cyprus issued 1 billion euros ($1.07 billion) in June 2031-dated bonds via a bank syndication on Wednesday, as order books closed in excess of EUR9.3 billion, excluding joint lead manager interest, one of the lead manager banks said.

The spread on the bond was set 55 basis points above mid-swaps, the same bank said. The bond has a 3.25% coupon, and it was priced at 99.631, at a yield of 3.310%.

Joint lead managers of the transaction are Citi, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE and HSBC.
