Capstone Copper Corp. (TSX:CS) entered into a binding share purchase agreement to acquire Compañía Minera Sierra Norte S.A. from Inversiones Alxar S.A. for $40 million.

Capstone Copper Corp. (TSX:CS) entered into a binding share purchase agreement to acquire Compañía Minera Sierra Norte S.A. from Inversiones Alxar S.A. for $40 million subsequent to the quarter ended June 30, 2024. Under the terms of the share purchase agreement, Capstone will pay $40 million in share consideration.

The transaction is expected to close within 1 week. MPA Morrison Park Advisors Inc. and South Andes Capital Asesorias Financieras Spa acted as financial advisors to Inversiones Alxar S.A.
