Canadian Pacific Kansas City has received a ruling establishing new collective bargaining agreements with two units from the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference.
The company said Friday the new four-year contracts include annual wage increases of 3%, effective from Jan. 1, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2027.
The agreements were established with TCRC's Train and Engine division, representing 3,200 locomotive engineers, conductors, train and yard workers, and its Rail Canada Traffic Controllers division, which includes about 80 rail-traffic controllers.
The provisions outlined in the ruling don't require ratification, the company said.
Three other collective agreements between CPKC and unions representing mechanical, engineering, clerical and intermodal employees in Canada were ratified earlier this year, the company said.
"Together, these agreements bring labor stability to CPKC operations in Canada, allowing efficient and dependable rail service to continue uninterrupted for years to come," the company said.
