Bombardier revealed NetJets is the buyer of 12 of its aircraft, extending its relationship with the private jet operator owned by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway.

The Canadian company unveiled the order for its Challenger 3500 jets in December but at the time didn't disclose the buyer. The order was valued at $326.4 million, based on list prices at the time the deal was signed.

Bombardier said Wednesday the order could be worth more than $6 billion, based on list prices, if all options to buy a further 232 Challenger 3500 aircraft are exercised over time.

Deliveries of aircraft under the firm order are set to begin in the second half of 2025.
