Atok-Big Wedge Co., Inc. at its meeting held on February 5, 2025, announced the resignation of Atty. Charles Edward M. Cheng from his roles as Corporate Secretary, Compliance Officer, and Corporate Information Officer, effective the same day. Atty.
Cheng resigned to pursue higher studies abroad. In the same meeting, the Executive Committee appointed Atty. Raymund Nonato S. Aquino as the new Corporate Secretary, Compliance Officer, and Corporate Information Officer, effective February 5, 2025.
Atty. Aquino will serve for the remainder of Atty. Cheng's unexpired term.
Additionally, Atty. Aquino was appointed as Committee Secretary to various committees of the Board of Directors. Atty.
Joyce Ann Marie V. Almazora was appointed as Assistant Committee Secretary to the various committees of the Board of Directors. Atty. Aquino previously served as Vice President Legal of PhilWeb Corporation and was a director at SGV & Co.
He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Legal Management from the Ateneo de Manila University. He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
