JAKARTA (Reuters) - Tech giant Apple plans to invest in a manufacturing plant in Indonesia that produces components for smartphones and other products, Indonesia's investment minister said on Thursday.

Rosan Roeslani told reporters that Apple and Indonesia are still ironing out details of the planned investment.

The minister had said earlier this week that Indonesia was expecting a $1 billion investment from the tech company.
