The airline carried more than 9,000 accredited guests (athletes, sports delegations and media) from over 150 nationalities (out of 206 nationalities represented at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games). As a result, 1 in 3 accredited guests already arriving in Paris by air traveled on Air France.

The peak in arrivals was reached on July 25, 2024, the day before the Opening Ceremony, with almost 1,000 accredited guests transported on a single day.

In terms of the number of accredited persons carried, the delegations most represented on board Air France aircraft at this stage are Italy, Japan, Switzerland and the United States.

The company is also already preparing for the departure of athletes at the end of the competition. Unlike the arrivals, which have been gradual, departures are expected to be concentrated over a period of 24 to 48 hours following the closing ceremony. The peak of departures is expected on August 12.
