ABB announces the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hemeria, a French supplier of satellite platforms, to jointly develop space situational awareness (SSA) solutions.
The agreement was signed at the International Paris Air Show in Le Bourget.
The companies plan to integrate ABB's high-precision multispectral payloads into Hemeria's satellite platforms to optimize the performance and reliability of space systems.
This partnership comes at a time when the number of satellites in orbit is rapidly increasing, and space traffic monitoring and collision prevention have become international priorities.
