ABB announces the introduction of nickel-zinc (NiZn) batteries to its MegaFlex range of high-power UPS solutions for data centers and mission-critical applications.
These batteries offer a safer and more sustainable energy storage alternative to conventional technologies.
As a leader in electrification and power technologies, ABB is supporting its sustainability agenda with this early adoption, aimed at reducing the carbon footprint.
With efficiencies of up to 97.4%, MegaFlex solutions incorporating NiZn batteries are designed for mission-critical IT environments, such as colocation and cloud hosting data centers.
